How to Import Collections into Shopify

Shopify supports bulk importing smart collections via CSV. Smart collections automatically include products based on rules you define — matching by tag, title, vendor, price, or weight.

This builder lets you create multiple collections with complex rules and export them as a single CSV file for import.

Smart Collection Rules

Tag: Include products with specific tags (most common method)
Title: Match products by title keywords
Vendor: Group products by brand/vendor name
Price: Create collections like "Under $50" or "Premium ($100+)"
Match ALL vs ANY: Control whether products must match all rules or any single rule
